Atglen Borough

Mayor Darren Horowitz provided an update for Atglen:

Atglen announced the CRP grants awarded to them from the county of $300,000 were utilized for security measures for their water plant and pump station; including fencing, emergency generators and lighting. 

They also utilized grant money to conduct a water main replacement on Ridge Avenue. 

The council is reviewing the Four Parks Master Site Development Plan created in partnership with the Chester County Planning Commission. 

The Atglen Library is getting close to moving into their renovated historic building across from borough hall which will provide much more space and comfort for the community. 

The highly-anticipated Di-Atglen Wizard Faire is expected to return in July 2021.  

Residential development of Chetty Applewood is entering phase 1 of their plan of 62 single family homes. Sellers Woven Materials, a manufacturer, is expanding their footprint and workforce. 

Atglen is also working on landscape 

improvements on Main Street.
