Patrice Proctor, Chair of the Board of Supervisors provided an update on the Township in November 2020:
Valley Township has a New assistant manager secretary, Janice Rambo.
The Township welcomes G.A. Vietri’s new construction.The project is a building in Valley View Business Park including 58,835 square feet of mixed-use space including an office, industrial work and warehouse.
Another project in Valley View Business Park is a new 97,598 square feet machine shop that manufactures stainless steel plate products. The business is Cigas Machine Shop.
Coming soon to Aviation Way is a 28,564 square feet office space and industrial manufacturing area for a business working in dna storage systems; they’re in their primary and final land development stage.
An expansion is planned by the airport on the northside of the runway with a 9,500 square feet terminal expansion, 28 new hangars, and the possibility of 3 non-aviation buildings to be determined in the front of the airport.
On West Lincoln Highway and Airport Road, Valley Suburban Center is a 63-acre site to be developed as a mixed-use property with 98 townhouses, 192 apartments, and 54,000 square feet of retail space including two restaurant pads, two retail pads, and one retail pad with a drive-thru. This project is currently finalizing road development plans with PENNDOT.
