WCCCC aims to help our businesses fill their workforce needs and connect our community with the access to the skills they need. The Chamber created the Time for the Trades Initiative to bring together Skilled Trades Employers and Career and Technical Educators to foster partnerships and develop workforce pipelines. These programs build awareness of training, apprenticeship opportunities, and Skilled Trades opportunities in our region.

Thaddeus Stevens College offers 24 high-skill, high-wage technical programs.
Delaware County Community College’s skilled trades programs offer certificate and associate degree opportunities.
Williamson College of the Trades offers programs in carpentry, masonry, machine, electrical, power plant and landscape.
UTI Exton’s location offers Automotive, Diesel, Welding and Robotics & Automation programs
At Octorara Area High School, learning goes beyond the classroom. Students have the opportunity to explore their interests and build their futures through 12 career and technical education (CTE) programs alongside a strong academic foundation and diverse electives. These hands-on programs allow students to earn industry certifications and develop real-world skills before graduation, preparing them for success in college, the workforce, or both.
