Chamber adds NEW Trades Scholarship

The Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce recognizes the importance of continuing education and life-long learning. For 2020 we will offer 2 scholarships to eligible students. NEW this year is our Trades Scholarship, in addition to our Academic Scholarship. The Trade Scholarship is designed for a local high school student from one of our area’s vocational programs. The WCCCC Trades Scholarship will assist students attending a vocational-technical school and who will pursue a trade degree/certificate in an industry including but not limited to construction, industrial, motor/power sector, mechanics, and technology.

CrossFit Fosters New Health and Fitness Facility in Coatesville

Coatesville, PA.- A new business has arrived in Coatesville, CrossFit along with Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce gathered yesterday to cut the ribbon in celebration of the new facility in the Midway Arts Building in Coatesville. CrossFit is a welcomed addition to the surrounding community as it offers a space where residents can have access to quality instruction in physical fitness. CrossFit Co-founder Kyle Wegman said, “The western Chester County region had an unfilled gap of fitness options and my team is excited to offer this facility to individuals that have otherwise commuted to work-out.”
